Well, two more turnaround flts and back to S’pore! Will be busking under S’pore sun from 21st till 2nd… but hopefully able to extend longer so i can enjoy a couple more days. Instead of going back right after my last paper which is so saddening. Yes, this trip back is for my papers! Exams! Better to go thru it once and for all….. ok, gonna take a nap and start studying! On this flight, our hotel stay is at Long Island, not the usual Manhattan one. So it’s not that happening. I think i did mention before about it. Well, the cheering part will be shopping under one roof. Don’t have to walk the streets and avenues (the part which i love). But, i don’t think i’ll shop much. Like the last few flights… will be bringing my labbie along. One last assignment to go which is due on the 11th. God please bless me! I’m struggling a lot now. *sigh*

Hmm… What do I think about Seychelles? Two words… Over Advertised! Just like Dubai! Haha… Yes, the ocean, beach, scenery is beautiful. See my Photos!! But not the people! Especially the hotel staffs! They’re not into helping us at all. When asking what time will the bus pick us up in the city? We received 4 answers when we ask them at different occasion, especially the driver. Talk to Irene about it and she had the same experience. *shake head* haiz…. And the people are just out to get our money! I hate it! I’m one who’s willing to pay no matter how much if you’re nice to me. But they’re so unfriendly. Sobz… and fierce. I didn’t feel safe if were to go for their boat trip. By the way, they only accept USD or Euro and if you were to pay in Rupees they’ll charge double. And the angry part is that our company gave us allowances in Rupees which we can’t do anything with it except let the locals ‘slaughter’ us. And we’ve to spend it all, there are no ways you can change it into other currency not even in the airport.
I wasted the first day staying in the hotel room but at least I finished half of my assignment and the other half the next day. Went to bed to hugging onto my laptop. A bit pathetic but wanted to go out the next day so must faster finish it. Talking about the hotel, it’s like a prison especially the corridor. But the room is still ok. I don’t believe it’s a 4 star; I’ll give a 3 cuz at least they have a Chinese restaurant. Hee…
We went to the city on the 2nd day, had a bad experience with the driver but I don’t care. Cuz I’m not going back with him. I’m heading down south to Port Launay! It’s a beach which not much people. Actually, more like a private beach. There are only a couple of people. Woopeee! It’s actually Wendy (M’sian) and her boyfriend (Moroccan) who suggested on it. Cuz we missed the booking time for the hotel tours (I wanted so much to go. All because of those typical EK crew again.) Haiz… I just hate to go out with them. Anyway, luckily Wendy is on this flight. And she and her boyfriend are so nice to let me join them. Hee… I’m so thick skin but I really don’t want to join the other crew. So we took the public bus down to the beach. It’s so cheap just 3 Rupees. Imagine if we were to go for those blood sucking tours. And there’s actually a local couple there on the beach that has a boat and they give private snorkeling trip. Wendy’s bf helped us to bargain and he asked a French couple to join us so it’s cheaper in this way. It’s so nice to be able to speak French. Haha… Well, needless to say, I’m all burnt again. The consoling part is the water is warm n clear. I think it’s better than Mauritius cuz not that touristy there. There are still some corals alive, only 4 sea urchins, a couple of lobster, a yellow starfish and lots and lots of fishes (I lost count of them). Big ones, tiny ones, in school, in solitude, colorful ones, long, fat ones… Gosh! Too bad I don’t have an underwater camera and too late to get it now. Doubt I’ll have another Mauritius or Seychelles. But Wendy says Redang is better. Hmm… can’t imagine people paid so much for Seychelles and it’s not as good as Redang. Haha…. Well, three cheers for South East Asia! Our waters are still the best (excluding sin). =p

Happy Birthday Fredla! Hope you’d a great time yesterday! The BBQ is great! Reminds me those chalets gathering in sin. And I love it! The beach is like ours. Not much people (I think cuz need to pay entrance fee). Haha…
On our way back to 21st century tower, I was thinking actually Duabi isn’t that bad after all. With friends all around you, especially true friends. Nice ones who treat you genuinely. It’s nice to hear that now, Irene and Wanling had moved in to Fredla’s apartment. At least they can look after one another now. It’s really tough when you have ‘troublesome’ flat mates. Seen and hear and experience before… Well, it’s all come to understanding and tolerating. Anyway, now I’ve another home! Apartment 4204!!! Yeah!
We’re watching Chow’s movies together with baileys n vodka at Moira’s. Haha.. What a combination! Anyway, I doze off pretty fast… couch, chips, alcohol; movie is just my sleeping pill. Haha… Nice time out with you girls! Hope to have another gathering soon! Nah, must hope to have same days off together first! =p
Oh yes, Claire’s graduation. She did her upgrade to business class. Finally, able to sell duty free and get the commissions. She’s been waiting for it a long time. Hee… Really nice to see her going up the stage and receive the cert. You have to see how hard she’s been studying for it. Never had I see her so serious and nervous about something. And next wednesday, will be Jiehui and Eileen’s Graduation! I can’t wait to attend theirs. hee… dunno what are they going to perform. hee… gonna bring my DVcam! Will be fun!

hee…. I’m going Seychelles! Was kinda reluctant to swap away my seychelles on the 22nd which is just before my leave. But now… haha… a blessing in disguise! I’ve a 48hr layover seychelles instead of that 17hr one. Yippee! And somebody has accepted my 17hr seychelles with days off, now waiting for the schedulling people to approve it. If so, i can go back home earlier! hmm… too bad have to bury under books.
Talking bout this, I’ve finally managed to rush my assignment and submit on time. Did the whole assignment during my Munich trip. Unbelieveable, i only slept for 5hrs between two flights. Anyway, i can feel the effect now. Feeling drowsy but my hair is still WET!!!! Don’t ask me to use the hair dryer. Too noisy for me!
I think i’d better find some food to fill my empty stomache. Didn’t eat anything on flight. Was too tired to eat. hee.. else i’ll just grab some chocolates i’ve brought in Munich. haha…. someone will scream upon seeing the amount of chocolates i’ve brought in this trip. All my allowances was spend there. Hmm… It’s not all for me k! =p
